Most Wilson County Government offices will be closed on Friday, July 3 for the Independence Day holiday. Normal hours will resume on Monday, July 6.

•Wilson County C&D Landfill and Site 13 (Hwy 42 East) will be closed on Friday, July 3, Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5. 

The following Convenience Centers will be Closed on Saturday, July 4 and will reopen on Sunday, July 5, with normal operating hours of 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.:

• Site 1(Elm City)

• Site 3(Saratoga)

• Site 4(Rock Ridge)- (Closed Wednesday & Thursday - always Closed on Wednesdays)

• Site 6(Gardners)- (Closed Wednesday & Thursday - always Closed on Wednesdays)

• Site 8(Stantonsburg)- (Closed Wednesday & Thursday - always Closed on Wednesdays)

• Site 9(New Hope)

• Site 11(Hwy 581)

•Wilson County Convenience Sites 2(Hwy 117, Black Creek), 5(Lloyd Road, Lucama), 7(Hwy 42 W), 10(Grover Lane, Sims) and 12(Landfill Rd) will be open on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5.
