Information from NCDHHS as of November 14, 2025:
NCDHHS expects to process full November Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments by Friday morning. Approximately 600,000 households should see the full benefit amount loaded on their EBT cards by Friday. The development comes following the U.S. House and U.S. Senate resolution to end the federal government shutdown announced late Wednesday evening, and subsequent guidance from the USDA on Thursday to states to issue full benefits.
SNAP recipients may check their balances in the ebtEDGE app or by calling the number on the back of the EBT card.
Residents may learn more about community food programs by dialing 2-1-1 or visiting NC211.org to connect with local food pantries, meal programs and other essential services. NC211 is available 24/7 and in multiple languages.
Inquiries can be made by phone to Wilson County DSS by calling 252-206-4000.
